Treasure Lake Sportsmans Club

Community Improvement Club (CIC)

The Community Improvement Club of Treasure Lake is an affiliated club whose purpose is to enhance and improve the inherent attractivenss of our community by using the talents and energies of property owners.The focus of the club includes general clean-up and landscaping along with other small maintenance projects.

Regular meetings of the Community Improvement CLub are held the first Tuesday of each month from April through November at 6:30 p.m. in the POA Administration building and work parties are scheduled at various times during the month. New volunteers are always wwelcome and fro more information contact Ann Tuller at 814-371-3663.

Treasure Lake Bridge Club

Treasure Lake is home to a very active Bridge Club. Club members meet several several times weekly to enjoy their games. Duplicate bridge is played on Monday and Thursday evenings, 7:00 p.m., at the POA Administration building. A partner is required for these sessions. On the first and fourth Wednesdays an opportunity is presented to those in our community who would like to learn to play duplicate bridge. These sessions are from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the POA Admininstration building. For more information please contact Bobbi at 814-375-1186.

Treasure Lake Lions Club

For those residents interested in working to improve the Treasure Lake and DuBois communities the Treasure Lake Lions Club offers the perfect opportunity. The club meets each second and fourth Thursday at 6:30 p.m. Members of this very active club suport many local organizations such as the Salvation Army, Boy Scouts, American Red Cross, American Cancer Society, Camp Cadet, DuBois Food Pantry, Special Oluympics, DuBois Free Clinic, DuBois YMCA, Agape Community Services, and The Lions Hearing Research and Sight Conservation programs. Club members also maintain the Treasure Lake gazebo at the front gate and are responsible each year for a beautiful Christmas display at the entrance to the Lake.

To support these worthwhile organizations the club members work diligently to raise monies each year by hosting many events, some of which include: bingo each Saturday night during the summer at Cayman Lodge, the White Cane Event in July, the Lions Club Golf Tournament in June, and the ever popular Ocktoberfest. In addition to these events the club maintians a eye glass donation center in the Treasure Lake Postal Station. All monies raised by the Lion's Club returns to the local community.

WIPS & Stitches Quilt Club

WIPS ( Works in Progress ) & Stitches Quilt Club offers quilters in Treasure Lake & the surrounding areas an opportunity to share their love of quilting every Monday
afternoon from 1PM to 4PM at the TLPOA building. The first Saturday in November is set aside for the Annual Quilt Show where projects of the year are displayed & open to the Public. The Quilt Club's goal is to promote Quilting in all forms.
Whether a beginner or expert quilter, new members are always welcomed; just come or call, 814-375-6948 for more information.
