Fitness Center (YMCA)

The Dubois Area YMCA includes access to two facilities for one low price.

The Treasure Lake Extension YMCA features: Name brand cardio equipment, Icarian weight training machines, free weights, and locker rooms for males and females with showers and a sauna. Annual memberships can be purchased at the time of joining or through a monthly bank draft program. Individuals visiting the area can access the facilities by purchasing a day pass.

The Downtown DuBois location is 43,000 square feet and features: Two gymnasiums, Cybex Fitness equipment, free weights, 25 meter heated swimming pool, three racquetball courts, 30 Minute Fitness Center, locker rooms for youth/families and for male and female adults, sauna and steam rooms, whirlpool, a Youth Activity Center, babysitting while you workout, and state–licensed child care for ages six months through the sixth grade.

Enjoy a game of tennis on our impressive clay courts or our hard courts. The clay courts not only meet regulation standards, but they provide a professional tennis experience for the tennis enthusiast.

Tennis Lessons

10 and Under Tennis dates and times (starting June 13):

5 & 6 years old – Mondays and Wednesdays, 9 - 10 AM

7 & 8 years old – Mondays and Wednesdays, 10:15 AM - 11:15 PM

9 & 10 years old – Mondays and Wednesdays, 11:30 AM - 12:30 PM

The program will run for four weeks, through July 11. Make-up sessions for rainy days will also be held.

Cost - $60 per child; multiple children from the same family receive a $10 discount each.

A second session will begin in mid-July, depending on the interest of the participants to continue.

10 and Under Demonstration Day / Registration – A Demonstration Day will be held on Saturday, May 21, at 1 PM. Come check out this program and have the kids give it a try. Parents – Bring a racquet and hit a few on the clay courts. Registrations for 10 and Under Tennis will be accepted on Demo Day or anytime the Tennis Shack is open before June 13.

Come check out this exciting program for kids and enjoy a picnic lunch! In case of rain, we will see you on the 22nd.

Tennis Clinics

Tennis Pro Mike Sciabica will again be offering group clinics for middle and high schoolers, and adults. These clinics are “drop-in” in nature (pay for the sessions you attend). They will begin on Tuesday, June 14 (Tuesday Morning Ladies will begin as soon as weather permits).

Middle School – Tuesdays and Thursdays, 11 AM – Noon ($8/session)

High School (fundamentals) – Tuesdays and Thursdays, Noon – 1 PM ($8/session)

High School Training – Tuesdays and Thursdays, 1:00 - 2:30 PM ($12/session)

Tuesday Morning Ladies – Tuesdays, 9:00 – 10:30 AM (stay afterwards to play!) ($12/session)

Private Lessons
